Chapter Numbering
Alright, here’s the logic I’m going to follow in my chapter numbering from now on. Feel free to point out any flaws in it.
K-ON! comes out in Manga Time Kirara (K) every month as 8-page chapters and in Manga Time Kirara Carat (C) every other month as 6-page chapters. Chapter from Carat appears to come before the chapter from regular Kirara if they come out in the same month.
From the structure of volume 2 I can infer the following:
volume 2 chapter 01 == K2008-04
volume 2 chapter 02 == K2008-05
volume 2 chapter 03 == K2008-06
volume 2 chapter 04 == K2008-07
volume 2 chapter 05 == C2008-08 (6-page)
volume 2 chapter 06 == K2008-08
volume 2 chapter 07 == K2008-08
volume 2 chapter 08 == C2008-10 (6-page)
volume 2 chapter 09 == K2008-10
volume 2 chapter 10 == K2008-11
volume 2 chapter 11 == C2008-12 (6-page)
volume 2 chapter 12 == K2008-12
volume 2 chapter 13 == K2009-01
volume 2 chapter 14 == C2009-02 (6-page)
Therefore my numbering will be as follows:
volume 3 chapter 01 == K2009-02
volume 3 chapter 02 == K2009-03
volume 3 chapter 03 == C2009-04 (6-page)
volume 3 chapter 04 == K2009-04
volume 3 chapter 05 == K2009-05
volume 3 chapter 06 == C2009-06 (6-page)
volume 3 chapter 07 == K2009-06
volume 3 chapter 08 == K2009-07
and so on.
