Season 2 BD Omake Vol.9: Classmate Introduction (final)

This concludes Class 3-2 introduction.
In the end only 27 girls out of the class of 38 were introduced. Not counting Ritsu, Mio, Mugi, Yui and Nodoka, that leaves just 6 girls who didn’t get a profile: Tsuchiya Ai, Kimura Fumie, Nakanishi Toshimi, Miura Kazuko, Yada Masumi, Wajima Maki. Shame on you, KyoAni!

There is a disagreement about the name of the last introduced girl: Nico’s wiki lists her as Sakuma Eiko, whereas on Pixiv she is Sakuma Hideko. Hideko is the reading accepted as correct by majority on 2ch and other boards: her name is speculated to be based on Sakuma Masahide (producer/composer), so corresponding kanji should be read as “Hide” and not “Ei”. Needless to say, there are no official readings for any of these names.

There is also an apparent typo (by KyoAni) in Vol.8: “Suzuki Keiko” should actually be “Sano Keiko” (introduced in Vol.6). It will be corrected in the complete Season 2 Omake release which is coming out next.

Let’s see… It’s been 2 months since the restart and we are already at ch.5. Assuming no changes in serialization, volume 5 should be out sometime around October and volume 6 sometime around April. So, with 2 volumes out, come Spring 2012 anime season 3 is not out of the question?
