Anthology Volume 2 (Complete)

This is the complete volume 2 of the anthology. It includes previously released chapters 1-13 (with some minor revisions), newly translated omake 4-koma and manga by Arai Cherry, comments by all participating mangaka, illustrations, and covers.

Huge thanks to Anonymous who provided the raws back in October.

A bit of trivia:
Front cover of the volume (the picture used for this post) was drawn by Ushiki Yoshitaka, author of Yumekui Merry.
Title page was done by Kuroda bb, A-Channel’s mangaka (which explains why Azusa looks a bit like Tooru 😉

Next I’m working on remaining Season 2 BD omake pages and, of course, the new chapters as they come out. I would really love to get the raws for Anthology Vol.3 and 4, so if anyone is willing/able to help me with that, it would be much appreciated.

Signs on p.3 (panel 5) were only partially readable in the raws I got, so their translation will likely be revised/expanded when I release the complete volume 5 using (hopefully) better raws. Or I could release a v2 if someone who has access to Kirara 2011-06 is kind enough to take a high-res picture of p.43 for me (doesn’t have to be perfect, just sharp enough for me to read those tiny kanji in the top left corner). Thank you, Flat Hair!

Until some official word to the contrary appears, this chapter will henceforth be known as Chapter 1 of Volume 5 (the manga’s name has not been changed, so volume numbering should continue).

There’s also a somewhat spoiler-ish TL note, so read the chapter first.

Well then, I’m off to raise a cup of nice sake in celebration of their return…

This was the last chapter of volume 2. Next I am working on the complete volume with all the omake pages, illustrations, covers, etc. That’s 20+ pages, so it’ll be a while. Of course, new chapters of the restarted canon will take priority.

In related news, Anthology Volume 4 is coming out in Japan on May 27. And Volume 3 raws are still nowhere to be found…
